Senior Humanitarian Programme Officer

To provide strategic leadership in the design, implementation, and oversight of complex humanitarian programmes, the role contributes to effective delivery of life-saving assistance, strengthened partnerships, and achievement of humanitarian objectives in high-risk operational environments.

• Lead development of humanitarian programme strategies and workplans
• Oversee implementation through UN teams and implementing partners
• Ensure alignment with Humanitarian Response Plans
• Manage programme risks and donor compliance
• Represent organization in inter-agency coordination forums

• Advanced degree in humanitarian studies, development, or related field
• Minimum 7 years humanitarian programme experience
• Demonstrated leadership in complex emergencies
• Strong strategic planning and management skills

• Hardship duty station
• Security clearance required
• 1-year renewable contract
